Sonali Negi Das is a strategic communications leader with over two decades of experience across India and Africa, specializing in public relations, media relations, stakeholder and crisis management. As Adjunct Faculty at OP Jindal Global University, she teaches corporate communication, crisis strategy, and financial PR, helping students connect academic frameworks with real-world industry practice.
Sonali has held senior leadership roles at global PR agencies including Weber Shandwick and Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where she led client experience, external communications, and crisis preparedness for prominent brands across various sectors like technology, BFSI, aviation, Energy, healthcare etc. Her work has consistently focused on highly regulated industries, combining strategic counsel with a deep understanding of media dynamics and stakeholder engagement.
She has also led Internal Communications at Siemens India, where she was recognized for her contributions to compliance communication and transparency initiatives. A published poet and communications consultant, Sonali is currently authoring a book series aimed at guiding startups on navigating PR, crisis management, and financial storytelling.
Sonali holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Mass Communication from IIMC, an MA in English Literature from Delhi University, and a certification in Digital Marketing from MICA. She brings to the classroom a rare blend of global experience, creative insight, and a passion for mentoring the next generation of communicators.
