JSES Partnership with ISEP

Jindal School of Environment and Sustainability (JSES) is proud to be an Approved University Partner of the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP) - the global membership body for sustainability and environmental professionals. Through this partnership, JSES students gain access to a complementary ISEP student membership for the duration of their course. On successful completion, graduates will qualify for Grad.ISEP, for a year – a launchpad for future leaders in sustainability and environmental practice. This pathway offers graduates benefits such as professional development, international networking, and the opportunity to “fast track” to Practitioner Membership following successful completion of the work-based assessment of competence.

This prestigious recognition affirms that the JSES’s curriculum aligns with industry standards and equips students with the essential skills, knowledge, and practical tools to tackle real-world environmental challenges. The accreditation enhances graduate employability and ensures that students are well-prepared to contribute to a sustainable future. The accredited courses include:

• B.A. (Hons.)/B.Sc. (Hons.) Environment and Sustainable Development
• M.Sc. Environmental Change & Sustainability

JSES students automatically get enrolled in ISEP at the start of 1st semester as a “Student Member”. The benefits of Student Membership includes:

• Access to resources to complement and support their studies
• Opportunity to network and connect with environment and sustainability professionals
• Option to upgrade to Graduate membership upon successful completion of their course, giving them the professionally recognized Grad.ISEP suffix, with an annual renewal or progression into other advanced certification levels in accordance with ISEP guidelines.
• Further acceleration towards professional recognition with the opportunity to fast track an application to practitioner membership once they have gained sufficient experience
