Dr. Vijyapu Prasanna Kumar is an assistant professor in finance at the Jindal School of Banking & Finance, O.P. Jindal Global University. He completed his undergraduate degree in 2014 from Andhra Pradesh Residential Degree College, affiliated by Acharya Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh and master’s degree in 2016 from Department of Commerce, Pondicherry University, in Puducherry. Thereafter, he served as a guest faculty member from 2016 to 2017 in Karaikal campus one of the campus belongs to Pondicherry University, Karaikal district, Puducherry. In July 2017, he joined the Ph.D. program at the Department of Management Studies, IIT Roorkee. The title of his thesis is “Assessing an Impairment of Bank Loans: Indian Context vis-a-vis Cross Country Analysis”.
His broad research interests lie in the area of Empirical Banking, Carbon Trading, Measuring Efficiency in Service Sector. He has published papers in Scopus and ABDC-indexed journals. Further, he has presented her work at several national and international conferences organized by prominent institutions.
