Biography

Seerat Gill is currently working as a Lecturer at Jindal Global Law School. She completed her B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) with specialisation in constitutional law from Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law, Punjab, where she was awarded eight medals including the Chancellor’s Medal and the Vice-Chancellor’s Medal for Best Girl Student. She went on to read for Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford, focusing on equality law, human rights, family law and constitutional law. She qualified the UGC-NET exam in June 2025 cycle with Junior Research Fellowship. Prior to joining JGLS, she worked as an Assistant Professor at UPES, Dehradun.

Her areas of interest include women and law, feminism, equality law and constitutional law.
