Biography

Kolawole Afuwape is a lecturer at O P Jindal Global University's Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) in Sonipat, Haryana, India. His bachelor's degree in law was awarded to him by Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria. After completing an LLM in International Energy Law and Policy at the University of Dundee in Scotland, he went on to Lagos State University in Nigeria to earn a Master of Laws (LLM) in Maritime and Commercial Laws. He is currently pursuing a PhD in Jindal Global Law School.

He held positions in several strategic resource functions units at First Bank of Nigeria Limited, including Internal Audit, Retail Operations and Businesses, Legal Services Department, and Remedial and Classified Assets Management, before he joined the O P Jindal Global University's Jindal Global Law School in Sonipat, Hayana, India.

He belongs to several organizations in addition to the Nigerian Bar Association, including the Chartered Risk Management of Nigeria, the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered), and the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria.

His areas of interest in research are energy law and policy, business and commercial law, and environmental law. Reading, viewing documentaries, photography, going sight-seeing, and travelling, and sports watching are some of his hobbies.
