About Us

O. P. Jindal Global University has established five schools: Jindal Global Law School, Jindal Global Business School, Jindal School of International Affairs, Jindal School of Government and Public Policy and Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities.

The Admissions and Outreach department is one of the nerve centres of JGU administration. It plays an important role in the registration of students in all programmes. The team follows a two-fold strategy to achieve its goal of student recruitment:

Outreach - The aim is to reach as many school students and parents as possible, with the help of the school management, career counsellor and teachers. This aim is achieved by visiting schools, participating in career fairs and conducting open houses for parents and students studying Pan India. The Admissions team engages with students and facilitates them to think of the different study/career options available. It also provides information about JGU programmes, eligibility selection criteria, scholarships to interested students, and supports them in completing the application. The Admissions Team focuses on recruiting students and also helps in student engagement in the co-curricular activities and events happening in the University.

The team members work closely with the Deans and faculty of the different JGU schools and institutes in reaching out to higher education students interested in postgraduate programmes.

Admissions - To facilitate a seamless transition from the application phase to registration in JGU, by tracking applications and counselling applicants at every stage including Entrance Exams and interview processes. Successful applicants are provided support in registration to the University and its various departments, facilities, services provided at the University.

While the team is involved in the admissions process and outreach activities, it also works on innovating and strategizing the process for the admissions for every session with the idea of reaching maximum students and benefiting them through the counselling sessions.
