Outbound Students

Study periods spent abroad not only enrich students' lives in the academic and professional fields, but can also improve language learning, intercultural skills, self-reliance and self-awareness. Their experiences give students a better sense of what it means to be a global citizen. In addition, many employers highly value such a period abroad, which increases the students' employability and job prospects.
JGU offers several exciting options to its students through its short and long-term programmes.
1. International Student Exchange
The International Student Exchange Programme (ISE) provides JGU students with the opportunity to spend one semester abroad. ISE contributes to the academic and personal development of students by expanding their horizons and providing them with an international perspective. The network includes academic institutions in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, the Middle East, North and South America. Exchange students may gain academic credit towards their degree when the specific requirements of both participating ISE institutions are met.
2. Study Abroad programmes leading to degrees
The Study Abroad programme enables JGU students to spend more than one semester abroad. For example, an MOU concluded in 2013 between JGU and Rollins College facilitates an extended period of study abroad for students of Jindal School of Liberal Arts and Humanities at one of the leading liberal arts colleges in the United States.
Study Abroad programmes can also involve a student working for two different university degrees in parallel, with an international partner university.
JGU has agreements with Indiana University Bloomington, Queen Mary University, London, Rollins College USA, Tilburg University Netherlands, University of Arizona, University of Baltimore, University of Texas, Dallas - Naveen Jindal School of Management.
Interested students may contact Programme Leaders/Coordinators in the respective schools for information about Study Abroad options.
