Vision

Three main pillars around which the Alumni office of JGU operates are:
  • Mentorship: To build quality mentoring relationships that provide personal growth and development, and provide social & economic opportunity to all jindalites.
  • Networking: The student gets an opportunity to benefit from the established community and network of the mentor that they can tap into for valuable networking opportunities.
  • Learning: To discover and rediscover their purpose and learning to align their theoretical interests into practical industry requirements.
Almaconnect Portal is an official networking platform where you can get in touch with batchmates, avail job opportunities, and get updates on the University. Currently we have 3800+ alums onboard on this platform.

The alumni chapter and working committee will uphold JGU’s three-tier vision of networking, mentoring, and learning. The network sphere aims to build an extensive alumni directory with regular updates on alumni positions. The mentoring sphere will focus on providing job interview insights and conducting career-oriented workshops. The learning sphere will enable specialized webinars on individual expertise. Alumni chapters are launched across cities to fulfill the JGU alumni office’s vision.

A graduating batch from JGU will get to experience the grand 10-year reunion from the date of graduation. It is celebrated on the Foundation day of the University i.e. Sept 29 and the whole day is filled with different activities for the reuniting batch. Last year we celebrated the reunion of the first graduating batch of 2012.

Sports Meets are organised once a year during which alums from different states join to engage in a healthy competition in different sports and get to experience or relive their old memories on campus.

Alumni Meets are organised on a frequent basis across different cities to build connect amongst the alums, OAR has organized several alumni meets in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Bhubaneshwar, Jaipur, Kochi, Chandigarh and other international locations such as New York, London, etc.

Alumni Cards are issued and distributed to all the JGU alumni during the alumni meets. These ID cards helps the alumni in visiting the campus and reviving their old campus memories.

The JGU Alumni Mentorship Program is an online platform facilitating valuable mentorship relationships for students and alumni, providing support, guidance, and insights from accomplished mentors to help navigate careers and education paths.
